SEED OF MIRACLE       Soymilk Distribution

Soymilk is the easiest form of soybean consumption.

Since 2006, NEI has opened five soymilk processing facilities producing soymilk for women and children in high maternal mortality areas. Approximately 3,000 women and children receive soymilk three times a week from our five facilities. Soymilk is processed on-site and then delivered to surrounding villages, many of which are rural and impoverished.

  • NEI reached 500,000 women and children with soymilk supplemental feedings in just a one-year period.
  • In 2011, NEI began operating four soymilk distribution programs, reaching more than 2,000 at-risk women and children every day.
  • NEI started the soy biscuit distribution in schools, as well as supplying soymilk to pregnant women throughout the provinces, in collaboration with the Ministry of Womens' Affairs (MoWA).
